If you didn't know - which of course I am expecting that you didn't - Max has an older brother that he does not know about, Jeffery Michael Lewis. You see, when Max's mother was young, she had Jeff, although of course it was an unplanned pregnancy. Not being able to contact the father - it was a one night stand, they had only just met - and not being able to take care of the child just yet, she adopted him off. Lilian hopes to meet him one day, and has been writing his adopted parents letters to give to him when ever they felt like the time was right. Max's father knows about it, too.
Except for being adopted, you may choose his personality, appearance, etc. It would be interesting, though, if he knew he was adopted, and wanted to find his real parents. His class is optional as well.

If you don't mind, once I've had my first character accepted I'll play Jeff for you on a new account. I'm thinking of making him a breeder but doing a little training too and getting badges so high level Pokémon obey him more easily so he can breed eggs with better egg moves. I'll have him knowing he's adopted like you suggested and wanting to find his birth family.

That sounds great! [Your character is accepted, btw.] I was also wondering, eventually Maxwell and Jeff are going to meet each other. Should Jeff find out that Max is his brother or Max first? I was thinking of Jeff because he is older, and because I thought it would be interesting that since he's gonna know that he's adopted, if his birth mother sends him letters or what ever and he knows what his mother looks like. Your choice of course.

Thank you. Your suggestion sounds good. I'll have to think of a reason why he's gone to Lerruen instead of going to meet his bio-mum and discover he had a brother though. Unless I include it in his past? He could've gone to do that before he headed to Lerruen and discovered that his brother had gone to Lerruen. Maybe he's going to Lerruen to find his brother as well as because it's a huge awesome region floating in the sky.
I hope I can keep track of two accounts. :s I think I'll manage.
